Since their early 2015 debut, NSG has managed to stay afloat the very busy UK music scene with their special assortment of exquisite sounds, top of which is afrobeats.

Their single run in 2019 was a celebrated mix of unique sounds and with no time to waste, the six-man group which includes Nigerian, Papii Abz, continue down the same path this year with the Jae5-produced Ourself; which comes with a gritty video.

Building on their existing grime influence which flows from J Hus to his frequent collaborator Jae5, the man responsible for the single’s budding bass beat, the group offers a welcome twist to their personality themed narrative. Each member gets a chance in the sun to deliver verses that are mere articulations of their charisma over a melodic beat that unites their varied narratives.

The video which is shot in different locations including London and Lagos highlights the personal nature of the single and does well in portraying the six-man team as a united front.
