COVID-19: ECWA Shut Down Services Nationwide Over COVID-19 Pandemic

The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has shut down it services nation wide following Covid-19 ravaging the country.

And called on it members across the country to observe 6th-8th March, 2020 as fasting and praying for God’s intervention particularly on the ravaging coronavirus ravaging the country in particular, and the whole world in general.

The partial shut down of the activities in the church nationwide is contained in a press statement signed by the church General Secretary Rev.Yanusa Nmadu and made available to this medium 30th March, 2020 in jos , plateau state.

The release admonished the members to observe the fasting and prayer declared by the church to seek God’s intervention be done exclusively by family levels especially where meetings is prohibited.

And added that all members of the EE, DEs, HODs, HOus and other essential staff not more than two are to work f

\nrom 10am-2pm from Monday’s-Friday’s for the next two weeks starting from 30th March, 2020 except those states with total lock down.

The released further stressed that other staff not included in the afore mentioned categories, should stay at home starting from 30th March, 2020.

The release however admonished members to endeavour to adhered strictly to federal and state government directives on hygiene and social distancing observance at all time.
