The management of the State House has ruled out any new Capital Project in 2017. Permanent Secretary Jalal Rabi affirmed this during an oversight visit by members of the House Representatives Committee on Special Duties to the Presidential Villa.
The visit of the Committee is in fulfillment of section sixty-two of the 1999 constitution. Led by Nasiru Daura, the Federal Lawmakers say the visit is meant to get credible information on the utilisation of the 2016 budget.
They are also to determine the sufficiency or otherwise of this year’s allocation.
