SPEED LIMIT DEVICE: FRSC BEGINS ARRESTS OF DEFAULTERS

Road safety officials have started arresting commercial vehicle operators who failed to install speed limiting device. This follows the February 1 enforcement deadline fixed for fleet operators by the federal road safety corps. These passengers‎ are stuck in the Ikeja area of Lagos due to no fault of theirs.
The driver of the commercial vehicle had run foul of the law on Speed Limiting Device and is set to face a mobile court. This is how the Federal Road Safety Corps is dealing with defaulters. They are taken before a mobile court presided over by a magistrate.
